Nylon films, often called “low curl” or “lay flat” films, are very stable and resist shrinking or expanding when they are heated and cooled. This is ideal for single sided laminating as it prevents curling of the finished product. Nylon laminating films absorb moisture at a rate similar to most papers, which prevents curling from moisture. Nylon is also more scratch and tear resistant than OPP or Polyester films.

Nylon gloss film provides a clear, shiny finish that brings out colors in prints while providing protection.

Nylon film is available in widths from 12-1/2" to 39-1/2”"in 1/2" increments. Standard roll length for 1.2 mil is 12,000’ (roll diameter is approx. 14"), 1.3 mil is 10,000’ (roll diameter is approximately 14") and 1.7 mil is 3000’ (approx, roll diameter is 9.5").
