DigiKote is a thermal laminating film with UV inhibitors for wide format imaging. Specifically engineered for wide format output, this low-melt film was designed to accommodate a wide variety of inks. It can be used for inkjet, electrostatic, laser or thermal transfer technologies. Printed images are protected from harmful UV rays and remain bold and colorful up to five times longer than uncoated images. All films listed melt at approximately 195°F to 205°F at 3-6 feet/minute. Faster or slower speeds require higher or lower temperatures respectively.
Digikote 3 mil Satin is a 0.5/2.5 construction (0.5 mil polyester base material, 2.5 mil polyethylene adhesive).
