Durafilm Laminates

Choose the film gauge (thickness) that best meets your product finishing requirements. Laminate thickness is measured in terms of mils (1 mil = 1/1000th of an inch). Some laminates are available in the very thin 1.5 mil material, which protects your product but allows it to remain very flexible. Medium gauge 3, 5, and 7 mil laminates make up finished products with medium rigidity, from "bends freely" to "moderately stiff." The thickest laminate is 10 mil, which results in a rigid finished product. 10 mil laminates are available in 4/6 or 7/3 constructions; this refers to the polyester/polyethylene content of the laminate, the 7/3 being more rigid.

A high quality film with superior clarity and durability.

Glossy with Liner

Features a removable liner to protect the film surface during finishing, shipping and installation.

Satin

Offers a great balance between clarity and low surface reflection. An excellent choice for graphics where bright colors must be maintained but lighting reflection must be minimized.

Matte

Offers high clarity with very low reflectivity. An excellent choice for graphics with softer, mellower colors that require little surface reflection.

Crystal

An extremely stable, micro-embossed, anti-glare overlaminate that imparts a low gloss, semi-matte appearance. Has an appealing textured surface that provides excellent protection against scuffing or fingerprinting and is scratch resistant.

Low Curl

A nylon film whose properties resist curling. Ideal for most one-sided laminating applications such as book jackets and covers.

OPP Glossy

A write-on/wipe-off film, suited for use with dry-erase pens in applications such as wall charts, teaching aids, point-of-purchase materials, and more.

Pressure-Sensitive

Two-sided mounting film (thermal adhesive on one side; pressure-sensitive adhesive on the other) that can replace pressure-sensitive transfer adhesives for most mounting applications. Allows the shipping or storage of mounting-ready rolled or flat graphics.

Opaque Black

Creates a black edge-seal that is ideal for displays, portfolios, photos, and other prints that need a border.
